Feeding the Kids: The Flexible, No-Battles, Healthy Eating System for the Whole Family
Feeding the Kids offers parents a new, easy-to-use system for feeding their children well every day, while eliminating mixed-messages, guilt and parent-child negotiations about food. This system will help parents:
- Select healthy and kid-friendly food, based on nutrition and what tastes good to your own family (no tofu unless you like it!).
- Group foods into three groups: Smart (healthy), Empty (junk foods) and In-Betweens. Then, learn how to gradually get your family to eat, and enjoy, more Smart food.
- Organize a flexible family routine to insure that your family gets all the nutrients they need.
- Teach children (and adults) to automatically eat the right amount of food for their own bodies (no measuring out “correct” portions sizes!).
- Help your children (and yourself) enjoy junk food guilt-free by learning how and when to compromise.
The tone of the book is friendly and non-medical; and the emphasis is on learning to love eating nutritious foods by finding healthy choices that also taste great.
Customer Review: Very helpful
This book is well organized (you don’t have to read it all at once), well written (it includes some funny anecdotes), and easy to follow. I would reccomend it to anyone with or without children. Very helpful advice laid out in a useful way.

What Is Hyponatremia?
Hyponatremia is essentially water intoxication. It occurs when an incredibly high amount of water intake can result in a dangerously low sodium level, or sodium deficiency. People can really suffer - and so can their physical exercise programs when their sodium levels drop due to over-hydration. Some people do not believe it, but there really is such a thing as drinking too much water!
